Counselling and Psychotherapy

Have you ever just needed someone to listen without being judged or looked down on?
Are you fed up of struggling with issues on your own?

Unfold Counselling

Counselling is just another word for someone coming alongside you to help you work through whatever issue may be bothering you.

It is up to you what you shoose to tell your counsellor. Together with the counsellor you will be encouraged to explore your issues in a safe, non-threatening environment at your own pace.

Counsellors don't have the answers but they can help you to discover them on your journey.

Do I have to talk lots?

You can talk if that's what you feel comfortable doing, if not then we will work together to find the most comfortable way for you to communicate what is going on for you.

It may be that art is the key to expressing yourself, or music, drama or even writing. We will work to include your interests in the sessions as ways of helping you to explore your thoughts, feelings and struggles. Counselling can involve fun!

How long are the sessions?

Usually we start with a 50 minute session. If this amount of time is too long or too short then we can re-arrange a different length of time.

Every six sessions we will review to see what progress has been made and how you have been finding counselling. Unfold Youth Counselling

How much do sessions cost?

Each sessions costs only £25 for 50 minutes. If you are being reffered then costing will be discussed with them.
